Video Tennis Tip – April 18, 2007 – A "Classic" Serve

A “classic” serve…

If we’re truly going to play this game for the rest of our lives, we need to continue to look back at the players that played all-court “classic” tennis.

Why…?

Stroke fundamentals that we can actually copy and model.

I’d love to be able to help you serve in the 150s like Roddick, but sorry, that service motion of his will only lead you to injury and misery.

I don’t have the guts to think I can tell you to try to serve like that knowing that you’ll be back in a week begging for rotator cuff injury relief.

Don Budge, winner of the 1938 Grand Slam, had a service motion that is so teachable, it’s unfair…!

I’ve put together a short video analysis of hos serve, what I think you can copy, and some extra goodies for you.

Any questions or comments should be posted throught this blog.  Thanks,
