I’ve seen my share of players respond to an opponent’s lob by literally backing up to play their overhead only to then see them fall backwards and the rest is not a pretty picture.

Your initial response to an opponent’s lob needs to be with your shoulders.

Here’s a quick video tip to help you set up and move your feet properly for your overhead.
