Today I played at a much higher level all around than normal.
My topspin forehands and backhands were much easier and more consistent.
I attribute that to my constant focus on maintaining a relaxed grip and later realized at some point I had entered the “zone.”
The ball simply seemed to slow down, was easier to see, and I had more time to set up for my shots. I simply was reacting, moving, and thinking faster.
